The "Friese Antillen" consist of 8 cottages built around a courtyard on the edge of the cosy village Hollum on the island of Ameland. The "Friese Antillen" are located on a picturesque street with mainly old houses near the beach (800 m) and also within walking distance (100 m) of restaurants, bars, shops and a supermarket.
The houses were refurbished in November 2007, and the kitchens have been installed new in January 2009.
The 8 Cottages
Five houses can sleep up to 4 people and a baby. One of them has a small third baby bedroom, the others have a travel cot each to place in the parents' room. There are also two houses with a capacity for 2 people and a baby. Each house is private property, which is why the decorations are similar, but not exactly the same.
The ground floor consists of a living room with open kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet. Some houses have a bathtub, the others have generous showers.
The kitchen is equipped with a combi-oven (microwave, oven, grill) and four hotplates, fridge, toaster, Senseo coffee maker and an electric kettle. The living room with TV and DVD player provides access to the private terrace, and the communal courtyard with barbecue and picnic tables.
There is also a communal laundry room with washing machine and dryer (free of charge).
